Decorative crane candle holders. Sculpted bird design with textured feathers. Two-tone finish in antique gold and dark bronze. Elegant, sculptural accents for tabletop or mantle. Stunning, highly collectible pair of 19th-century standing crane-form candlesticks. Crafted in the classic manner of Thomas Abbott, this rare figural pair features meticulously detailed herons/cranes perched atop heavily textured, gilded rockwork bases. Perfect statement pieces for Grandmillennial, Hollywood Regency, Chinoiserie, or traditional Victorian decor. One is missing the cup & collar. It's a screw-in top, so it should be easily replaced with a similar cup/candlestick holder. There are some scratches on the inner cup. There's some old wax on both. There's some green patina on the base. I believe that they are oiled brass. They stand 14(without cup) 17(with collar & cup). The base is approximately 6x5.5
