VINTAGE 68TH ARMOR REGIMENT MILITARY CREST PIN LION VENTRE A TERRE BLUE ENAMEL INSIGNIA BADGE Vintage military-style crest pin featuring a silver-tone lion rampant on a deep blue enamel shield with a small red side emblem at the left edge. A raised scroll along the lower edge wraps around the right side of the shield and reads VENTRE A TERRE in blue letters (translates to something like at full speed). The reverse is plain metal with a circular maker's mark and a double-post clutch-back attachment fitted for two butterfly clutches, which are brassy metal. Size: 1 1/4 high x 1 wide. Condition: Good condition with minor expected age-related scratch type wear and a few small nicks on the enamel and light patina.
