Vintage1938 Tom Mix Ralston Straight Shooter Mystery look in photo ring Cereal

Used, brass ring with gold-tone finish.   The Mystery Mechanism: The ring utilizes a specialized optical component known as a Stanhope. It features a tiny hole on the side of the brass casing. When a child held the ring up to a strong light source and peered inside, they could see a hidden, clear black-and-white photograph. The Image: The micro-photo depicts western film star Tom Mix standing alongside his famous horse, Tony. The Message: Beneath the photograph, a tiny facsimile inscription reads: To My Straight Shooter Pal / Tom Mix. Design Elements: The brass body features illustrations of Tony on the side, a six-gun, and Tom Mix's signature TM branding on the top cover.
