A fine solid pewter buckle by Nepo commemorating the 1797 to 1947 sesquicentennial of the U.S. Frigate Constitution - Old Ironsides - with the sailing frigate in relief on a rectangular stamp-shaped face. A great piece for naval and maritime history collectors. Condition is fair, with scuffing visible across the face in the photos. No structural damage - the ship detail still reads well. Standard attachment on the reverse for a full-size belt. Priced to reflect the surface wear.
