Unworn with basting threads attached [Kurume Kasuri] Do-nuki tailoring Indigo-dyed Navy Cotton Kimono Flowers Butterflies Folk Craft
This is a very beautiful Kurume Kasuri cotton kimono featuring a delicate indigo dye gradation with a pattern of flowers and butterflies. It is a dounuki (partially lined) style made from firm, crisp cotton fabric. The colors in photos 3 and 4 are closest to the actual item. The lining (hakkake) is a shade close to ki-ouba (a yellowish-brown).
