Vintage Ucagco Footed Trinket Box, Rose Lid, Made in Japan

A sweet little vanity piece with plenty of mid-century charm — this footed trinket box comes from Ucagco Ceramics, imported from Japan beginning in the 1950s.  The lid is topped with a hand-applied porcelain rose, hand-painted in soft pink with gold gilt detailing, set on a raised hobnail-textured body with a gold-brushed rim.
