Vintage 1950s Parker Hooded Fountain Pen. *Retro, Furturistic, Ivy League, Classic, Corporate Chic, Executive, Steampunk, Industrial, Jet-Fighter. Not tested with ink. Pen receiver in tact. Black with gold accents and has a mid-century streamlined silhouette, characterized by its jet-fighter aerodynamic profile and iconic hooded nib. Produced starting in 1941, it is known for its durability and unique design. The black body (barrel and section) of a vintage Parker 51 fountain pen is made of Lucite (acrylic resin). This durable plastic was chosen for its stability and resistance to the highly alkaline Parker 51 ink developed for the pen. It is known for being a durable workhorse material. It is in very nice condition. No noted scratches or cracks. Please see pictures for condition reference.
