Macpac Baby Carrier Birby, Stowable, Dark Gray, Domestic Discontinued Item

【Brand Reliability】
macpac is known for its high-quality outdoor gear, offering excellent durability and functionality.
However, this product was purchased about 10 years ago and has some scratches and stains. Please check the photos. If you are concerned about scratches or stains, please refrain from purchasing.

【Design and Functionality】
This is a compact, stowable baby carrier.
When open, it functions as a standard baby carrier. When closed, it resembles a 35L backpack. Made of nylon with a mesh back panel for breathability and comfortable use.
The advantage of this product is its stowable design, which means it doesn't take up much space like typical baby carriers.
The disadvantage is that due to its compact design, it does not have a stand or securing fixtures on the bottom and cannot stand on its own. Therefore, for putting children in and out, you will need to lean it against a vertical surface such as the back of a chair or a wall. (Once you get used to it, you can temporarily secure it to your own legs by wearing the straps to allow your child to get in and out on flat ground, but generally, please place it on a chair or bench and ensure safety such as preventing it from tipping over before your child gets in or out.)

【Storage Capacity】
The seat height of the carrier can be adjusted in two stages to match your child's height (approximately 5cm adjustment range).
There are two pockets: a 2L storage space at the front of the back (for items you want to access quickly) and a 5L storage space behind it (for clothing, etc.).
As shown in the photos, the main unit has adjustable shoulder straps and a large waist securing belt.

【Other】
This product does not have a headrest.
The item resembling a headrest is a homemade accessory that can be attached and detached.
The neck pillow is from the manufacturer but has been partially modified. It is still usable.
A headrest and neck pillow are necessary to protect your child's head and neck when they fall asleep.
