Beautiful vintage pair of genuine sterling silver salt and pepper shakers manufactured by the renowned Mueck-Carey Co. (New York) circa 1940s-1950s. **NOT weighted** The underside of the base is fully hallmarked with the Mueck-Carey M in a diamond trademark, stamped STERLING, and bears the pattern number 162. The Pattern #162 design blends Late Art Deco geometric lines with the emerging Mid-Century Modern aesthetic, which was highly popular on American dining tables during the immediate post-WWII era **Condition:** Vintage pre-owned condition. They do have some dings and imperfections but are still in beautiful sparkling vintage condition. No buildup on the inside from salt. Caps screw on perfectly.
