Vintage 60s salt & pepper shakers green & yellow parrot love birds - bird pair

These bright & happy little birds are lovebirds, little green & yellow parakeets Both can be removed from their branch & arranged as you like. The branch is weighted & speckled. There's foliage as well that matches the bird's colors. The plastic is thick & not pliable. **I cannot confirm or deny that this material is not bakelite - I did a few basic tests but cannot conclude especially for those of you who need to know precisely. Each bird can be removed & the little plastic plug can be removed to add salt or pepper. One is an orange plug, the other yellow so you can tell what is what. The salt/ pepper comes out of a tiny single hole on their neck under the beak. They work fine & the plugs stay sealed. My grandparents loved to collect these salt & pepper shakers Birds are 3 3/4 long Entire height is 4 Base footprint is 5 1/4 x 4 1/4 Without issues! Clean & stored with care Smoke and pet free environment
