Wonderful vintage Swedish hand embroidered dish towel or kitchen curtain featuring a woman and a Swedish phrase that translates to “we who use the kitchen entrance” circa 1940s. White cotton fabric is edged in red cotton border and has five hanging loops across the top. In excellent vintage condition- just some light fading on the red bottom half- see photos. This textile was called a parade curtain, which was hung in the kitchen as a decorative touch and to be put in front of less decorative kitchen items. Purchased in Sweden.
