Joy of Cooking, 1962 Vintage Copy

This 1962 edition of Joy of Cooking by Irma S. Rombauer & Marion Rombauer Becker is a wonderful addition to any kitchen. A classic that has been relied on by cooks for generations, it includes a vast array of recipes and black-and-white line drawings. This copy is hard bound. The binding is somewhat loose but the pages are intact and largely unmarked except for a few starred recipes and splatters from kitchen use. The pages show typical age-related yellowing. Two red ribbons are attached to the book as page markers. Also included are several handwritten and clipped recipes from the previous owner. Dated recipes are from the late 1970's - early 1980's.
