Description
※※This bow and the A.Rau bow can be shipped without interruption during the New Year holidays.

A work by a modern master craftsman who also serves as an instructor at the Markneukirchen School of Violin Making in Germany.

This is a very early work, with the stamp reading ST.KUHNLA, the first name abbreviated, and a GERMANY stamp on the back of the frog. The familiar daruma-like (?) mark is not present on the frog.

The maker became famous after winning a medal in a competition, but the asymmetrical frog, designed for thumb stability, seems to have been his unique specialty from the early stages of his career. (Upon closer inspection, there is a special touch to the part where the thumb rests.)

Currently, even the lowest-priced No. 100 Sartory model is priced from ¥250,000. Although this bow is an early work, it possesses the style of a Meister bow without any apparent compromise.

Luxuriously crafted from dense, lustrous Pernambuco, the stick is finished thinly, offering excellent playability and tone. The response when biting and releasing the string is exceptionally high, making it a bow that will bring out the best in any instrument, whether new or old.

The bow is in good condition with silver winding and leather grip, and requires no rehairing, making it ready for immediate use. While the product condition is listed as no noticeable scratches or dirt, it would not be an exaggeration to say that the stick is in excellent condition with no minor scratches.

Thank you for your consideration.
