This is a violin bow from the renowned Dörfler workshop, a leading name in Germany.
The inscription indicates it is a bow by Egidius (the second generation, the son).
The bow is like a jewel, with beautiful engraving on the fittings and a blue-shimmering Swarovski? decoration on the screw button.
This is a new bow purchased in Germany around 1998-2000.
At the time of purchase, I was told the Pernambuco wood had been seasoned for over 10 years (my memory is a little hazy...), and I have owned it for over 20 years since then, so it is almost unused, but it would be considered a bow from over 30 years ago.
It has been sleeping in its case as part of my collection.
The bow has a very beautiful appearance, so the satisfaction of ownership is high just by looking at it.
Since it is almost unused, it is listed as being in like-new condition.
The condition is good, but for those seeking perfect condition, please note that there are very minor varnish scratches as shown in the 6th image.
There are no issues with the stick's straightness; it is not warped in any strange way.
The camber is also fine.
When polishing the lapping, perhaps I applied a little too much pressure, as the edge of the leather on the thumb grip near the tip has become slightly whitened.
The horsehair is in almost new condition, but please rehair it if you are concerned.
As this is a bow that has been personally owned for over 20 years, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about these points.

I own many bows, but most of them are vintage. As I am not a musical instrument shop, my support after purchase is limited, so please understand this in advance.

I do not accept price negotiations as it is troublesome.
Shipping occurs about once a week, so please refrain from purchasing if you are in a hurry.
I will cover the shipping costs.
It will be shipped in a PVC pipe for protection against damage.
If you have any questions, please ask them in the comment section as soon as possible, as there may be delays in my response.
The lighting may have been a bit too strong, making the images appear somewhat washed out...

Thank you for your consideration.
