This was used by my father about 30 years ago.

I was told it was a very expensive bow even at that time.

I hear that bows engraved with Egidius are no longer sold, so I believe it has value as a vintage item.

My father is now elderly, and no one else in the family plays the violin, so it has become merely decorative. I am listing it in the hope that someone who appreciates its quality will use it.

It is not the original box, but I have a shipping box from when I purchased another bow. I plan to pack it in that box and ship it in a sturdy cardboard tube.
