Edelstein Bavaria Porcelain Tea/Coffee Set,‎ Vintage 1950-1970

This is a vintage Edelstein Porcelain Factory (Edelstein Porzellanfabrik AG), Bavaria, Germany porcelain coffee/tea set with gold trim.  The green mark with Edelstein Bavaria was used in the mid-20th century (mostly 1950s–1970s).  This set is potentially Edelstein Pattern 28681, Décor 647 – a white porcelain body with a wide gold band decorated in an etched/embossed scroll design. This is a classic mid-century modern style formal tea/coffee service.  Bavarian porcelain has a rich history dating back to the 18th century, with numerous factories producing high-quality tableware and decorative items.
