FINKEL ATELIER Violin Bow 4/4

This is a Finkel Atelier violin bow, full size 4/4. All parts, including the tip, winding, and frog, are made of silver. This bow is famous for its slightly shorter stick length compared to other manufacturers, making it very easy to handle even for petite individuals.

I have cherished this bow, but I am parting with it as I have purchased a new one and no longer use it.
The hair was replaced once a year. (It still produces a good sound as is, but replacing the hair makes it easier to play and increases volume.) The last hair replacement was in Spring 2024.

The bow has been maintained during each hair replacement.

[Photo 9] There is a slight scratch on a part of the mother-of-pearl inlay. Otherwise, it is in beautiful condition.

● Finkel Weidhaas has been a prestigious bow-making workshop since 1868 and is one of the most highly regarded workshops in the world. The Finkel family opened their workshop in Markneukirchen, Germany. The current fourth-generation master, Johannes, honed his skills abroad before returning to Switzerland to dedicate himself to crafting master bows, resulting in these traditional violin bows.

● In today's world, it is extremely difficult for bow makers worldwide to obtain high-quality Pernambuco wood. Finkel's materials are well-seasoned Pernambuco wood, offering superior playability and an ancient beauty, making them a traditional masterpiece.

● I have used this bow for 3 years, and before that, a family member used it for approximately 6 years.

● No case included (will be carefully packed and shipped with cushioning material and a sturdy tube).

● Returns are not accepted to prevent any trouble such as swapping.

● Immediate purchase is welcome.

● Price reduced. ¥71,000 → ¥68,000
