Antique German Lamb Chocolate Mold Easter Sheep Tin Metal Reiche Era
Antique
Up for sale is a beautiful antique metal chocolate or marzipan mold shaped like a resting Easter lamb characteristic of the Dresden school of confectionery manufacturing in Germany. 5 inches wide by 4 inches tall and lightweight at only 2.5 ounces. Crafted from traditional thin-gauge tinplated sheet metal, the mold features highly defined, deeply textured details replicating the look of pebbled sheep wool, a hallmark of early 20th-century German workshops like Anton Reiche. It comes complete with its rare, original vintage metal C-clips which still snugly hold both halves of the mold together. The exterior displays aged silver patina with honest wear, while the interior has a dark amber rusted finish characteristic of a genuine early 1900s candy tool. Because of the interior oxidation, this piece is being sold strictly as a decorative country kitchen display piece, a primitive farmhouse accent, or a premium holiday collectible. Please review all photos carefully to check the specific antique condition and patina. Ships with signature confirmation. Thank you!
