Description
Please note that one small metal accent bead is missing from one of the green paste stones. Price adjusted for missing element. This is a vintage antique collectible Whiting and Davis Art Deco filigree dress sash clasp fastener, dating from the 1920s to 1930s. It features green and red cabochon paste stones, all of which are present. The clasp is marked with its early-cursive W logo and has crimped prongs on the back, along with detailed filigree on the front. It is non-magnetic and made of gilt brass; it shows some layer separation and has an overall patina. The clasp measures 2 3/8 inches in length and 1 7/16 inches in width when latched together.
