Description
This stunning heraldic brooch is cast in substantial sterling silver and features a blue enamel shield with a lion rampant. The shield is topped with an extremely ornate crown and two crossed swords. The lower part of the shield is framed in laurel wreaths. Google identifies this as Estonian or Bavarian. Be that as it may, the brooch is incredibly well made! It dates to circa1930’s and is signed STERLING. 2 by 1 3/4”
