Antique Rhinestone Fur Clip Large Size Art Deco Nouveau Rhodium Vintage Silver

Magnificent Vintage/Antique Fur Clip. In the late 1800 and early 1900s it was fashionable for ladies to wear fur stoles and jewelry manufacturers were quick to realize the need to an ornate bauble to secure them. The fur clips were highly decorative and bold to not get lost amongst the clothing they adorned.  Rhodium plating gives this special piece shine and it is accented with rhinestones, round rose cut and square baguettes down the center. The back clip piece is equally as decorative with it's engraved design. Unsigned. it is missing one stone. As you can see this was made to accentuate the fur stoles back in the day and this would definitely be noticed. Today, it can be worn on a dress, shit, suit.  See photos for condition and size.
