This is a high-quality calligraphy brush, Bunho No. 2 (made by Kubota Go, Kumano brush).
This brush is meticulously crafted from high-quality sheep wool, possessing a good balance of softness, elasticity, and firmness, making it a medium-sized brush suitable for Kanji calligraphy on half-sheet and half-cut paper.
