Konica Zoom 8 Wind-up 8mm Camera Accessories

Thank you for viewing.
This is the Konica Zoom 8, a masterpiece 8mm film camera released in the early 1960s.
Its most distinctive feature is that it is a spring-wound type, requiring no batteries. When you wind the crank on the side and press the shutter, you'll hear the retro clicking sound of chichichichi.... The olive green crystal-coated body, unique to this model, was very unusual for a camera of that era and makes for an exceptionally cool interior decoration.

[About the Product]
• Manufacturer: Konica
• Model Name: Zoom 8
• Drive System: Spring-wound (no batteries required)
• Lens: V-Hexanon 12-32mm f/2.0 (top-class lens of the time)
• Exposure Meter: Selenium photocell type (no batteries required, reacts to light)
• Manufacturing: Made in Japan

[Condition (Visual Inspection)]
It is in surprisingly beautiful condition, considering it is over half a century old.
• Exterior: No paint peeling or noticeable scratches, and the texture of the crystal coating is preserved as if new. Metal parts are also shiny.
• Optics: Both the lens and viewfinder are very clear, with no signs of mold or cloudiness.
• Operation: We have confirmed the shutter operation by winding the spring, as well as the movement of the zoom ring and focus ring. The needle of the exposure meter also moves in response to light (accuracy is unknown, but it's rare for the selenium cell to still be functional).

[Accessories]
• Camera body
• Genuine hand grip (this makes shooting more stable)
• Genuine hand strap (orange, in near dead-stock condition)
• Genuine front lens cap (with Konica logo)

It is rare to find one in such excellent condition with all its accessories. We highly recommend this opportunity to collectors or those who wish to experience the history of film cameras.

*As this is a very old camera, actual shooting will require film acquisition and a developing environment. It will be sold as-is, so please purchase only if you understand this.
