Vintage 50s 60s Signed Monet Rhodium Plated Lined Bar Bracelet Mid Century Modernism  (MCM)~ During this time, Monet was famous for using heavy, high-quality triple-rhodium electroplating because rhodium does not tarnish and mimics white gold or platinum. This ultra-sleek, clean-lined bar style was part of Mont's push into Mid-Century Modernism.  Signed MONET on one side of the hangtag and the copyright symbol on the opposing side Stamped PATENTED onto one side of the butterfly clasp confirms that this piece is a highly authentic, mechanically innovative mid-century design from Monet Jewelers ~ The other side of the clasp is stamped MONET.  Approx. Measurements: Overall length -7 in; Slim bar accent length - 1  Excellent vintage condition ~the rhodium plating has retained its signature shiny bright silver finish; The triple-layered rhodium coating remains entirely intact across the face of the bar; Under close inspection, the central bar shows very minor, faint surface hairline scratches - This is completely normal, expected wear, or a genuine mid-century piece.; Clasp shuts tightly and securely.
