Description
Classic hand-painted wooden collapsing push puppet (traditionally known as a Wakouwa or thumb puppet). Features a playful snowman figure holding a miniature green Christmas tree in one hand and a straw broom in the other, complete with a top hat, red scarf, pipe, and gold hanging cord at the top. The round base is decorated with folk-art geometric patterns, hearts, and dots. When the hidden button under the base is pressed, tension on the internal cords releases, causing the snowman to collapse. Releasing the button restores tension, pulling the snowman back into a standing position. Condition Report: Pre-owned vintage condition. Shows light surface wear and minor paint rubbing consistent with age and gentle handling. Cords remain intact, and the spring mechanism works smoothly. Please review all photos for fine cosmetic details. Dimensions: 4 1/2 in tall x 2 in wide base Weight: 2 oz +983.. weight 1.9 Oz
