Description
These Namura watercolor and design brushes are the most durable and can also be used for ceramic painting, so I bought many of them.
Made from a blend of sheep, horse, and deer hair, they have just the right amount of firmness and can draw fine lines.
Looking at the Namura website, the handle design has changed, and the prices have more than doubled to ¥4,200 + tax for extra-extra large and ¥2,700 + tax for extra large.
The bamboo handles have discolored over the years, but the bristles are not deteriorated. I have been using the same brushes for nearly 10 years, and if handled with care, they last a very long time, especially since they are not used daily.
