COACH Vintage 1970s NYC Basic Bag Zippered Clutch 9455, Black

Lovely and classic vintage Coach Basic Bag Zippered Clutch in Black  7” x 11” x 1.5”, strap drop 44”  Includes original shoulder strap and wristlet strap. One interior flap pocket. NO hang tag.  Condition/Flaws/Notes: overall condition is very good for a bag this old. All piping is in tact and no splits or tears. Interior very clean too; bag may not have been much used. Industrial zipper glides smoothly. Two biggest callouts are no hang tag and the wristlet strap has tiny teeth marks in it (maybe a kitten?). The divets don’t go all the way through except for one on an edge; in the photos I showed both sides so you can see what I mean. There is also mild color loss, particularly on the shoulder strap near the clamp and the top edge of the bag. I tried to show this in multiple lights! I considered dying it back to black but was advised not to do so for the purists. 🙂   Repairs/Cleaning: no dunking! Overall initial vinegar spray and sun. Interior was vacuumed and brushed only. Exterior: yellow saddle soap, Leather CPR (multiple rounds of CPR over weeks), Blackrock on the strap and edges. Also buffing. 🤓
