This is a Men's Tie from genuine Hakata-ori, a traditional weaving from Hakata, Fukuoka. (Men's ties are called Otoko-jime in contrast to women's Date-jime sashes.) This item is a single obi sash. The color is a pale gray. It's difficult to tell from the photos, but it has the luster characteristic of genuine silk, and the touch is supple.
