This striking SIR/MADAM Toulouse Medium Pitcher No. 2 has an exceptionally graceful, architectural silhouette: a dramatically pointed pouring lip, slender curved neck, softly rounded body, pedestal-style foot, and an elongated loop handle that sweeps elegantly from top to bottom.  Its rich matte-black exterior gives it a sophisticated modern presence, while the glossy glazed interior provides a subtle and luxurious contrast. It is beautiful enough to display entirely on its own, yet equally stunning filled with flowers, greenery, branches, or dried botanicals.  Standing approximately 8 inches tall, it makes a statement without overwhelming a shelf, table, kitchen counter, or dining-room sideboard.  UNUSED INTERIOR-DESIGN DISPLAY SAMPLE  This pitcher came directly from a professional, high-end interior-design sales office, where it was kept strictly as a decorative display sample.  It sat on a showroom shelf and was never used to hold flowers, water, beverages, food, or any other contents. I personally removed it from the display shelf when it was purchased.  Although it was previously displayed, it was never put into household service. That history helps explain why it remains in such beautiful condition.
