Winart 50s Pottery Coffee Mug Set Carousel Creamer Sugar Shot Glass Vtg Set 10pc

Here is a beautiful, highly collectible Winart Mid-Century Modern Chartreuse Pottery coffee/tea service set with bonus shot glass and caddy. Winart Pottery operated a pottery during the 1950s-60s. This lovely set features their signature frothy, volcanic drip glaze over a rich ceramic base. Pieces are marked, even the carousel and the shot glass that has its paper label. This less common color is a little dichroic.... it changes color with the lighting. At times it looks more lime, in others it warms to look more chartreuse, or even yellow. Green is the usual dominant color though. The set sits compactly in its original, custom-made maple carry caddy featuring an iron horseshoe handle. It makes for a wonderful centerpiece set for a vintage coffee bar or MCM kitchen. What's Included: 6 Tapered Coffee Mugs with modern block handles 1 Creamer Pitcher with wide pouring spout 1 Open Sugar Jar (handle-less cup) 1 Maple wood caddy 1 small Shot Size cup (for Irish Coffee mornings :) Winart Pottery was founded in Sapulpa in 1951 by Clara Winchell and David Arter. They combined parts of their last names (Winchell and Arter) to name the brand & moved over to Miami, Oklahoma where they operated until 1972. Their drip glaze pottery pieces have become highly sought-after Mid-Century Modern collectibles. Condition: Excellent with no cracks, chips, repairs.
