Haviland Antique Limoges France Thistle‎ Porcelain Bowl J.W. Putts. 1876–1889

Haviland & Co. Limoges France porcelain oval vegetable, gravy bowl or candy dish made for J.W. Putts in Baltimore, Maryland.  The green H&Co France backstamp dates this piece to approximately 1876–1889, placing it firmly in the Victorian era.  This elegant piece features a delicate green and blue thistle floral pattern on a crisp white ground with a scalloped rim and scrolled handles. The fine translucent porcelain showcases the quality craftsmanship of French Limoges, making it a beautiful addition to a Victorian-style table setting or a sophisticated collector's display.  Condition: Good antique condition. No chips or cracks. Gold rim wear on lip as shown in last photo.
