Stunning vintage silk shift dress by Adrianna Papell, likely from the late 1980s or early 1990s.  Features a rich, jewel-tone purple base covered in an elegant, novelty equestrian print with detailed horse bits, stirrups, straps, and gold/bronze/brown medallions. This piece beautifully captures the timeless, heritage Old Money aesthetic.  Designed in a classic, relaxed shift silhouette with short sleeves, a subtle button-front neckline (with the remainder of the buttons hidden behind the placket), and a fluid drape that moves beautifully.
