Description
A wonderfully whimsical vintage set of 6 Metzke pewter pig corn cob holders, dated 1977. Each holder features a charming dimensional pig head with expressive little ears, eyes, and snout, finished with two metal prongs for holding corn on the cob. These are surprisingly substantial and heavy for their small size, with the quality and weight you expect from vintage cast pewter pieces. They are clearly marked METZKE 1977, identifying the maker and dating the design to the late 1970s. Such a fun piece of vintage tableware—perfect for summer cookouts, farmhouse-style entertaining, or for a collector of Metzke pewter, vintage pigs, or figural kitchen accessories. When not in use, they’re cute enough to display in a small dish or vintage kitchen vignette
