Production dates are generally listed as 1972–1973. Elevate everyday entertaining with this striking set of four vintage Wedgwood Toledo plates, crafted in England in the early 1970s. Rich cobalt-blue scrollwork is beautifully contrasted against warm cream Queen’s Ware, creating a timeless Mediterranean-inspired aesthetic that feels equally at home in Italian villas and contemporary designer interiors. Perfectly sized for appetizers, salads, desserts, or small plates, these versatile dishes bring refined European charm to intimate gatherings and elegant tablescapes. Their clean lines and saturated blue motif make them especially desirable for collectors of English pottery and lovers of classic Mediterranean design. The Toledo pattern was introduced by Wedgwood during the early 1970s as part of its Queen’s Ware collection. Inspired by traditional Mediterranean and Spanish decorative motifs, the bold blue floral-scroll design reflects the era’s renewed appreciation for handcrafted European ceramics.
