Antique Victorian Reverse Amberina Diamond Quilted New England Glass Co Decanter

Stunning Antique Victorian Amberina Ruffle Decanter with original stopper by either the New England Glass Company of the Mt Washington Company . This decanter is an example of Americana glass at its finest. Both the New England Glass Co and Mt Washington were producing this stunning glass in the mid 1800s.It is in fantastic shape for being over 150 years old and shows no signs of heavy wear such as chips, cracks or breaks. There is some scratching from being used over the years but nothing major or overly deep.   Amberina glass was started in the early 1800s by the New England and Mt Washington companies. This is a beautiful example of hand crafted colored glass. It’s a true piece of American history.   It’s sure to make a fine addition to anyone’s collection and home.
