item shown is a vintage tan leather shoulder bag custom-made or distributed for Bamberger's, a historic department store chain based in New Jersey that operated from 1893 until it was completely rebranded as Macy's in 1986. This means the deadstock bag is at least 40 years old. It features a classic 1970s or 1980s silhouette, an adjustable shoulder strap, an extended curved front flap with stitched borders, and a distinctive wide magnetic pull-tab closure.
