This is an endpin socket that was attached to a modern Italian double bass.
I've decided to list it as a set with the genuine 10mm diameter, 40cm long endpin.
The original price was approximately 33,000 yen.
I used it myself and found it to be very responsive.

There is no manufacturer's name indicated, but upon confirmation with a musical instrument shop, they believe it is highly likely to be ULSA-made Rosewood, given the purchase date of the instrument.
Even if the socket diameter differs from the hole diameter in the double bass body, it can still be fitted by requesting assistance from a musical instrument shop, so I hope this information is helpful.
