Description
Kirimawashi (切り廻し) refers to small scraps or offcuts that fall when foil is cut into squares or standard sizes. They are easier to handle than regular foil sheets and are used for crafts, Japanese paintings, gold and silver inlay, and sunako scattering (a decorative technique).

Shinwa foil (親和箔) is silver foil colored with dyes and is not for food use. It may discolor with solvents such as thinner, change color when exposed to chlorine or sulfur-based gases, and its color and properties may change due to heat, pressure, or friction.
Shinwa foil is based on pure silver foil, so it tends to discolor easily.

I purchased this for use in my hobby of Japanese painting, but I no longer plan to use it. I would appreciate it if someone could continue to use this Shinwa foil, of which about half remains.

Kirimawashi (100% pure silver)
Round bottle (container) containing 10g of foil: ¥14,000 - ¥15,000

⚫︎ Weight including container: 84g
⚫︎ Shinwa foil kirimawashi: 4.5g
When re-weighed in a plastic bag, it was just under 4g. Adding the original container's contents, the estimated amount is around 4.5g. I have re-evaluated the price considering Mercari fees and shipping costs.

⚫︎ Also included are the bamboo tubes for scattering gold (80 mesh), shown in photos 11-13.

The container is dirty due to age.
