Portland Leather Goods Nutmeg Small Bucket Bag Version 1

I bought this bag from a previous owner and realized it was too small for my purposes. BUT— it would be a perfect small bag for someone wanting a streamlined or bohemian look. It’s a squishy, pebbled leather bag in a warm brown. Nutmeg is a medium brown with a warm, reddish tint. No weird smells, smoke-free & low-fragrance home. Pets- not near bags.   There’s lots of variation in different batches of Nutmeg, but this one is a rich hue with lots of squishiness and character and some pronounced pebbling. I believe that because it has been used previously the character and beauty of the bag has been emphasized. “Version one” means that there are no grommets in the drawstring holes; many current buyers of the PLG brand don’t like the grommets and remove them, but this is the earlier version without the grommets. The leather is old, classic Portland Leather Goods Nutmeg brown leather, which works to its advantage. There is some slight staining in the inner bag, but mainly just a slightly darker tint around the opening of the bag as shown in the photos.
