Vintage Anne Klein for Caldron Red Leather Clutch, Gold Chain Strap, Convertible

A rich red leather clutch from Anne Klein for Caldron, with a slim gold leather strap that tucks away for clutch styling or wears crossbody. The fold-over flap is trimmed in metallic gold piping, and the bag opens on a smooth hinge closure to a taffeta interior in excellent condition — no stains, no odor, no wear to the lining.  The leather itself is supple with a soft sheen and shows only the faint, expected softening of true vintage — nothing that detracts from the piece. Gold hardware and the branded fob tag are both intact and bright.  Sourced from a thrift find and given a second story.
