【For Pickup by sk12 Only】Carlo Giordano SB-300M (Case Not Required)

This is a listing for a Carlo Giordano double bass (model SB-300M, manufactured in 2009, 3/4 size).
The SB-300M appears to be a model released by Carlo Giordano as a fully handmade instrument, in response to requests for a higher quality model, following their handling of entry-level models like the SB-100 and color models like the SB-120.
Although made in China, it seems that good quality materials have been used for parts such as the top plate, pegs, and tailpiece.
After acquiring the instrument, the bridge and nut were adjusted in a workshop to set the string height, and the soundpost position was also corrected. The strings have been changed to used Passione strings, which has resulted in a balanced and good sound from the G string to the E string, and the resonance of the instrument itself can now be felt. There is a slightly noticeable dent on the lower left side of the top plate (photo 7), but overall it is in beautiful condition and has been set up to be an easy-to-play instrument with no positional shifts.
The included soft case (black) was acquired separately, but the zipper is difficult to open and close for about 10 cm at the top (photo 11), and there is also a section of about 10 cm where the zipper is frayed in the middle (photo 12), requiring repair. Please consider this as a bonus. If you do not need the soft case, we will offer a discount of 14,000 yen, so please let us know in advance.

If you are within Yamagata Prefecture or a nearby prefecture not too far away (e.g., south of Akita City, Akita Prefecture; north of Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture; north of Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, etc.), we can deliver it to a designated location near you for the actual cost of fuel, etc. If you are along the Tohoku Shinkansen line, we can deliver it to the nearest Shinkansen station for the actual transportation costs. (We can also accommodate delivery to stations like Ueno in Tokyo.)
Test playing is also possible, so please contact us. The test playing location will be in western Osaki City or at my home. If in Osaki City, there will be a venue rental fee of 500 yen per person (plus the number of accompanying persons if applicable).
