Alien Cam Set Red, Green, Yellow, Silver
118.80 $
Description
Selling a set of 4 Alien Cams.
I've discarded the instructions, so I don't know the exact sizes. I've listed the sizes below in comparison to Camelots.
Red (1) - Approximately 0.5 Camelot size.
Gray (7/8) - Approximately 0.4 Camelot size.
Yellow (3/4) - Between 0.4 and 0.3 Camelot size.
Green (1/2) - Approximately 0.3 Camelot size or slightly smaller.
I'm not an expert, but I feel like they use a softer metal than Camelots, which makes them blend better with the rock and grip more securely. On the other hand, the contact points between the cam and the rock seem to wear down more easily.
The colors of the cams match the carabiners, so I think they are easy to use.
Except for the green one, the slings are double, so they can be extended for use.
I haven't used these in several years, so there is some rust on the metal surfaces. They are still functional, but please understand that these are used items before purchasing.
