Vintage Poole Pottery vase. LE pattern 1967 - 1972. Truda Carter design. Handpainted Bird Motif a beautiful vase in the LE pattern by Poole Pottery. This pot is in the classic Truda Carter Poole colours of bright handpainted florals on a cream ground. the motif of an elaborate bird sitting on a flower stem is repeated twice around the pot. The base is marked with the Poole factory mark - the dolphin mark used between 1967 and 1972. it also has the LE pattern code and the painters mark for an unidentified painter. the pot is in excellent vintage condition with a tiny amount of crazing as seen in photos, no chips or scratches evident. there is some light staining on the interior but it may clean out- I don’t have something to get to that bottom
