This is the Taba-ri-kun (current price ¥92,400).
This is a model from the era when genuine leather was used for the edges, so the leather is thick and very fine-grained, and it can be said to be equivalent to or better than the leather used in the current higher grades.
There are scratches on the corners, but these are scratches that occurred while the deer was alive and do not affect use in any way.
As shown in the photos, there is some color transfer, but we hope you will consider this as proof of genuine leather.
The obi is made of Exsaine, but we can replace it with a genuine purple leather obi for an additional ¥4,000. Please let us know in the comments section if you wish to do so.
The genuine leather obi is currently priced at ¥9,900, so we believe this is a great deal.
