Handmade Wooden Harp
Hand-carved about 15 years ago using domestic innocence wood.
It was made over about a year at a workshop that cost around 50,000 yen including materials at the time.
I made it for my child, but they ended up learning a different instrument, so it was put away.
Finished with natural oil.
Guitar strings are used for the strings, and there are no issues.
It can be tuned to be used as either diatonic or pentatonic, but tuning parts are not included.
The innocence wood is rounded and gentle for children.
It was made using offcuts from a famous furniture maker, and I remember the wood was hard and very difficult to carve.
I would be happy if someone could use it.
