Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1972. Began studying Karate in junior high school. After moving to Tokyo, he studied under Master Naoki Kobayashi, the current chief master of Shindo-kan. He learned direct lineage Chinese orthodox martial arts, Taiki Ken, and 99-Style Tai Chi. In 1998, he became the champion of the first World Sanda Combat Championship in the 64kg class. He later studied Xingyiquan, Tai Chi, and Baguazhang under Master Yoshikatsu Kono, a disciple of Master Wang Shujin. He also studied Chan Mi Gong, Hui ethnic Xinyi Liuhe Quan, Shanxi school Song-style Xingyiquan, and Yang-style Tai Chi under Master Shingo Fukai, and continues his studies to this day. He currently teaches Tai Chi and combat sports methods primarily in Chiba and Tokyo.
