Ultra-rare, heavy, thick training stick 3kg [Swinging stick] Martial arts training, for suburi to strengthen grip strength, natural wood [Cherry Blossom]

This is a listing for a training stick (suburi-bo) for martial arts practice such as Karate, Aikido, Kendo, and Iaido, or for grip strength training. It is made from natural cherry wood.

Purchased about 20 years ago and stored in a non-smoking, pet-free home. Although it has not been used since purchase and has been kept in storage, it is listed as near unused due to the long-term storage.
The natural wood has been indoors for 20 years, so it is thoroughly dried.

[Size and Weight]
Length: 103cm, Diameter: 7.5cm, Weight: 3kg

This is a thick training stick, so it can comprehensively train not only the shoulder and upper arm muscles, but also the forearm muscles from the elbow down, as well as the muscles of the palm and fingers, thereby improving grip strength. With a diameter of 7.5cm, it is particularly well-suited for developing grip strength.

Barbells and dumbbells found in gyms are easy to grip and are more suited for training the core muscles rather than the forearms and fingers (personal opinion). I believe they are not ideal for training the muscles and joints from the elbow down, which are essential for martial arts and grip strength training.

Why not try various swings with this training stick, such as forward swings, diagonal cuts, and side swings? It will be good training.

The product is the training stick only. Other items shown in the photos are not included.

While the usual way to grip a training stick is with the right hand above and the left hand at the bottom, please also try swinging it with the left hand above and the right hand at the bottom. This will allow for balanced training of both sides.

[Notes]
This is strictly a training stick for suburi (swinging practice).
Please do not use it to strike tires or other objects.
