Description
Elegant Rookwood owl bookends in a crisp white glaze, model 2655, designed by artist McDonald and produced in 1934 and 1942. The stylized birds perch atop stepped bases, reflecting the streamlined influence of Art Deco design. Their clean sculptural form and neutral color make them versatile display pieces while remaining highly desirable examples of Rookwood’s figural pottery. Bottoms are marked as shown. Chips to each on base edge as pictured.
