Masterfully hand-carved from thick, rugged cottonwood tree bark, these high-relief pieces boast exceptional character detailsone featuring a traditional frontiersman with a wide brim hat and the other a wizard or mystic figure with a deeply detailed beard and carved feather emblem. > Both substantial wall hangings measure approximately 22 to 22.5 inches in length. The flat-planed backs feature built-in routed keyholes for secure, flush wall hanging. Both are clearly hand-signed and dated Edward Lewis 1998 directly on the reverse.
