First Edition. Tan pictorial Hard Cover. 294 pages. Measures 8 ½” x 5 ¾”. From his family's claim in the Oklahoma territory to life in Enid in the early part of the century, the author describes the life and the people. From the preface, I have tried to restrict myself to what I knew about in the Strip's early days, and mine. Though the opportunity seems unlikely, if I could pick a place to grow up in again, when I did, I think I'd still pick the Strip. The object of this book is to give an idea of what the place was like in those days.
